🧑🎓 Modern: (DETAILED) Levels of Consciousness
This is an introduction to each level and the differences between them, based on how modern individuals evolve through these levels in today’s world.
What level are you at?
Read through the levels below, starting from 1 to 7. This will help you determine which level you are at now. You will be able to easily relate with the levels you have already moved beyond.
What level are others at?
After you find out which level you are on, see if you can figure out what levels your family members, friends, partner, exes, and coworkers are on too.
Level 1: Self-Reliant (Red)
Daily Life Description: Daily life at this level serves as a way to meet basic survival in the modern world by being hyper-independent.
Growth Development: The development of instinctual awareness and practical skills necessary for navigating the demands of modern life. They acquire the ability to manage their surroundings effectively and secure sufficient resources to sustain themselves, all while maintaining as much personal space as possible.
Personal Evolution: At this foundational stage, modern survival becomes the primary focus, driving behaviors centered on achieving a stable and secure life. However, this pursuit is marked by deep resentment toward the fact that life is set up in such a way that you have to interact with others. If possible, they would prefer to be left alone to simply exist without any demands on them, as they are acutely aware that people are selfish, have hidden agendas, and cannot be relied upon.
Cause of Evolution: Based on their experiences, they intuitively sense others as unsafe and potential threats to their well-being, which, in turn, shapes this stage of evolution. Survival depends on blending in, avoiding attention, and ensuring that one is not seen as a threat; lest they risk being ostracized, canceled, exiled, harmed, or eliminated. People are seen as inherently deceptive, as survival and selfishness are considered the driving forces behind human nature.
Level Lessons: Finding others or a group that they can trust and align themselves with, allowing themselves to be vulnerable with another person through an intimate relationship, overcoming cynicism and suspiciousness by becoming more objective and considering different perspectives, identifying patterns clearly and gaining more information about the world, expanding one’s knowledge and skills to a capacity where they can provide protection more effectively.
Level 2: Connector (Orange)
Daily Life Description: Daily life at this level serves as a way to manage subconscious fears of struggling to survive alone.
Growth Development: Loyalty to loved ones is developed (family, friends, significant others, children, etc.), social-tribal group, or group identity as they cultivate important relational qualities such as focusing on others’ well-being, acting as a supportive system, and being kind, friendly, open, receptive, and easy to get along with. They adapt well to change and prioritize maintaining peace.
Personal Evolution: The focus on modern security gives way to a focus on learning how to feel fulfilled through close connections, group identity, and bonds.
Cause of Evolution: Once modern living is secured (Level 1), psychological and emotional drivers come into focus through close relationships, where people feel secure to explore deeper connections.
Level Lessons: Key challenges include people-pleasing, anxious attachment styles, fears of rejection or abandonment, and unbalanced relationships (e.g., empathic vs. narcissistic; Level 2 vs. Level 3). Other issues include trauma bonds, fear of losing close connections, trying to meet everyone’s expectations, anxious or guilt-driven prioritization of others’ needs over their own, meekness, submissiveness, timidity, a lack of self-confidence and self-respect, inability to stand up for themselves, group compliance and conformity, becoming what others want, being overly agreeable, seeking external self-validation, issues with personal boundaries, and being taken advantage of.
Level 3 opens the ability to navigate and resolve the above lessons by embracing self-assertion and independence, breaking free from dependency and unhealthy relational patterns, and leading to personal empowerment.
Level 3: Opportunist (Yellow)
Daily Life Description: Daily life at this level serves as a way to manage the challenges associated with Level 2 lessons.
Growth Development: The emergence of self-identity and personal power. They develop the ability to assert themselves, find their voice, and a sense of personal agency.
Personal Evolution: Once they feel secure within their social bonds (Level 2), they learn to assert their personal influence, the ability to risk relationships by prioritizing their own needs, make decisions independently and for the benefit of self, self-empowerment, demanding respect, and a willingness to embrace conveniences and opportunities.
Cause of Evolution: Exposure to the continued pain of Level 2 lessons, they realize the power of assertiveness and expressing opinions, preferences, and desires. By navigating social dynamics in a fresh and nuanced manner, they can break free from the constraints of a shared “we identity,” leading to a more self-prioritizing worldview.
Level Lessons: Avoidant attachment style, impulsive tendencies, short-term thinking, irresponsible, pleasure-seeking, pain avoidance, escapism, cravings, obsessive, addictions, consequences of personal choices, self-sabotage, boredom, attention seeking, selfishness, loneliness, purposelessness, depression, disconnected, numb, destruction of bonds, betrayal, lower drives, instant gratification, unstable emotions, defensiveness, criticizing, blame-shifting, deflecting.
Level 4 offers the structure and support necessary for individuals to confront the above lessons, encouraging accountability and self-discipline while promoting healthier relationships and personal growth fused with ethics.
Level 4: Higher Calling (Green)
Daily Life Description: Daily life at this level serves as a compass for navigating the challenges associated with Level 3 lessons.
Growth Development: The emergence of an intuitive direction, a higher purpose, and deeper meaning and fulfillment through an ethical way of living. They develop the ability to realize the importance of consequences, to value structure, to value discipline, and to climb towards higher values and connection to something greater than themselves. To strive for ethical behavior towards others and seek fellowship support.
Personal Evolution: Either consciously or unconsciously, they learn that the self-priority behaviors of Level 3 operate on automatic and spontaneous impulses that are overwhelming and too powerful to manage alone. Consequently, the importance of learning about the benefits of mutual support, order, and stability emerges as a top priority, accompanied by a sense of responsibility and a dedication to a higher calling rooted in elevated moral principles.
Cause of Evolution: Fueled by the limitations imposed by the self-priority behaviors of Level 3. The interplay of internal motivations and external influences creates a fertile ground for them to seek out the power within peer-support or group strength, embrace the consequences of choices, and commit to a higher purpose beyond just themselves; guiding them toward a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life.

Level 5 provides the tools, perspectives, mindsets, reframes, and motivation needed to navigate the above lessons and move toward greater self-awareness, personal fulfillment, strategic planning, adaptability, decisiveness, and pragmatic solutions.
Level 5: Trailblazer (Blue)
Daily Life Description: Daily life at this level serves as a way to manage the challenges associated with Level 4 lessons.
Growth Development: The emergence of leadership skills rooted in the self-confidence of their values and worldview. Learning from experts provides insight into their strengths and weaknesses, while also revealing gaps in expert perspectives. They develop a strong sense of self-authority, allowing them to share unique insights. They prioritize clear analysis, measurable results, and breaking down big ideas into simple actionable steps. Motivated and ambitious, they track progress through tangible outcomes and demonstrate resilience in setbacks, empowering them to shape their futures and view challenges as opportunities for growth and improvement.
Personal Evolution: They learn that they can never measure up to others’ ideals, prompting them to outgrow the external ideas of others. Their higher calling expands to a greater and more complex capacity. This shift leads to feelings of unfulfillment, as such ideals fail to address their deeper need for individuality and self-expression beyond enculturation and conditioning. They learn that conventional molds represent a form of conformity that stifles the uniqueness and creativity inherent in every person. This awareness helps them uncover a unique purpose in the world that they never thought about before. As a result, they gain a profound sense of truth and clarity, rooted in their distinct perspectives and understanding of the world’s shortcomings. Their self-identity becomes solidified, allowing them to view themselves without the filter of external validation or feelings of unworthiness when others point out their perceived shortcomings. They learn a natural confidence that offers them the ability to see themselves more clearly and fully embrace their individuality.
Cause of Evolution: They acknowledge the importance of loyalty to a higher calling (Level 4), but they have outgrown this commitment because now they are questioning their identity, values, and what truly gives their life meaning. This journey involves a process of self-discovery that leads them to become true trailblazers through self-actualization.
Level Lessons: If you’re having trouble with Level 5 lessons, please collaborate with Axel (Summa).
Level 6 opens the ability to confront the above lessons by revealing the necessity of acknowledging the duality of the human experience, which includes both the potential for self-actualization and also the inherent psychological and emotional limitations, irrationalities, and complexities that define our complete humanity.
Level 6: Equalizer (Indigo)
Daily Life Description: Daily life at this level serves as a way to manage the challenges associated with Level 5 lessons.
Growth Development: They have developed a remarkably advanced meditative capacity, seamlessly integrating the core elements of flow, presence, relaxed focus, and clarity. By maintaining a stance of mindful awareness, where the mind is freed from compulsive chatter and recognized as a tool rather than an identity, they can access states of calm concentration with relative ease, even amid everyday challenges. From a psychological standpoint, this level of embodiment reflects a highly refined neural and attentional flexibility, developed due to this level of consciousness. As a result, they navigate life with an almost effortless poise, using the mind as a finely tuned instrument to engage with both internal and external realities.
They develop an extraordinarily refined form of intuition, often mistaken for extra-sensory ability, arising from a profound sense of interconnectedness with others. Through highly attuned sensory and perceptual processes, grounded in advanced theory of mind, mirror neuron activity, and non-dual awareness, they detect subtle psychological cues and shifts before these signals fully register on a conscious level. This seamless integration of self and other, where mental boundaries are fluid, gives them the ability to anticipate needs, emotional undercurrents, or insights that appear otherwise “hidden,” showcasing the depth of their perceptual and relational acuity.
They develop a profoundly refined patience, rooted in a continuous immersion in the present moment that effectively disrupts ordinary perceptions of time. By remaining fully attuned to “now,” they neither fixate on future outcomes nor remain trapped in past narratives, allowing them to process and integrate personal history while holding space for future possibilities, all within the unfolding present. Psychologically, this development reflects advanced emotional regulation and attentional control, where the brain’s default mode network and stress response are recalibrated to stabilize in a calm focus and openness. As a result, they navigate life’s complexities with a deep trust in “the right timing” and a lighter emotional footprint, recognizing that genuine clarity, healing, and insight emerge most readily through unwavering presence.
They embody a paradoxical “acceleration through non-acceleration,” where the psychological development for transformation, embodiment, and integration progress rapidly precisely because they are not forced. By honoring each facet of the psyche at its own pace, respecting the inherent timing and needs of every internal “part”, they minimize unseen damage, unseen harm, misunderstandings, and misalignments. From a psychological standpoint, this approach arises from advanced self-compassion, mindful introspection, and attunement to intrapersonal signals. As a result, growth is driven by genuine willingness and alignment rather than external pressure and conflicts, allowing deeper, more sustainable transformation.
Personal Evolution: They learn to adopt a viewpoint and a skill in which every interaction acts as a mirror, revealing the psychological and emotional patterns also present within themselves. This practice minimizes projection by reframing interpersonal conflicts and traits as shared human dynamics rather than personal affronts. By viewing each relational exchange as an opportunity for self-discovery, they maintain a near-constant “flow state,” continuously integrating subconscious insights and refining their awareness. This orientation stimulates rapid internal growth and an ever-deepening consciousness, as they remain open to learning from each mirrored encounter rather than reacting defensively or dismissively.
Cause of Evolution: Due to the inner-tensions that were not being addressed in lower levels, they embrace the full spectrum of life, both highs and lows, with a deep sense of equanimity and curiosity. By recognizing how protective and resistant parts of the psyche strive to maintain inner balance, they view each emotional conflict or defense as a meaningful clue toward greater self-understanding. Rather than repressing these internal struggles, they honor each part’s purpose in preserving psychological equilibrium, using that awareness to inspire holistic transformation, coherence, and perspicuity. As a result, they experience life’s challenges not merely as obstacles but as opportunities for deeper integration and profound self-discovery.
They experience romantic intimacy as a co-creative synergy, not fueled by unfulfilled desire, but informed by a deeply realized sense of non-separation from the other. Grounded in a transpersonal understanding of consciousness, they relate to each other from a place where psychological boundaries are perceived as permeable rather than rigid. In this state, each partner’s inner being profoundly resonates with the other, reflecting a high degree of emotional attunement and shared values. This creates a profound sense of “mirroring” in which their inner depths reflect and confirm each other. Much like a yin-yang interplay, their complementary qualities naturally enhance and balance each other, creating a deeply fulfilling bond that most individuals at earlier stages of consciousness cannot yet value or comprehend. This level of connection arises from a well-integrated sense of non-separated self that no longer seeks external validation or completion, allowing space for authentic interdependence. This bond emphasizes complementary resonance over romantic fixation. Only at this level of consciousness does one truly recognize and value such resonance, revealing the potential for transformative mutual growth that is unlikely to occur without the presence of a romantic partner who is also at this level. This deep connection may serve as a catalyst for evolution to this level of consciousness, as some can intuitively perceive the vast possibilities that such a partnership can unlock possibilities that are not available at Level 5 or lower. This advanced alignment of core values and mutual respect, grounded in genuine presence rather than longing, redefines intimacy itself, revealing how deeply two beings can merge their inner worlds while remaining distinct, whole individuals.
Level Lessons: If you’re having trouble with Level 6 lessons, please collaborate with Axel (Summa).
At Level 7, insights from Level 6 are not merely retained but actively transformed into a coherent, multi-dimensional strategy for action. People at this level recognize the value systems of each level of consciousness. They integrate the nuanced lessons of Level 6 into an overarching framework that accounts for all variables. This sophisticated synthesis equipping them to devise pragmatic solutions that address both immediate challenges and latent, emergent dynamics, effectively converting past learnings into proactive, future-oriented catalysts for collective evolution.
Level 7: Unifier (Violet)
Daily Life Description: Daily life at this level is dedicated to revealing that all complexity is, in fact, an unseen patterned unity that exists in simpler forms once uncovered. As a result, they possess the ability to integrate, harmonize, and balance all the levels below.
Growth Development: They develop an ability to transcend the conventional need for friction or counterforce as a catalyst for growth, operating from a level of awareness in which neither side of a polarized dynamic must be pushed to extremes. Drawing on what advanced developmental psychologists might describe as post-dialectical cognition, they recognize that tension itself is not the core driver of evolution or learning; rather, a harmonious integration can be achieved without forcing each viewpoint toward its most rigid boundary. Their perceptual architecture is sensitive to the exact inflection point where an opposing side ceases to propagate its polarized stance, revealing a shared space of balance that does not emerge through conflict but through intrinsic equilibrium. In this mode of engagement, they discern how each apparently conflicting perspective can coexist without distorting the overarching context, allowing them to facilitate resolution not by fueling resistance but by amplifying the subtle synergy already present at the heart of every viewpoint. Consequently, they neither require antagonism to spark clarity, nor do they mistake struggle for progress; instead, they rely on a refined capacity to perceive the moment at which all opposing forces naturally align toward a stable, self-sustaining center.
They possess an emergent quality to engage life as a synchronized, ever-evolving “dance” of interdependencies, discerning precisely when intervention serves the larger coherence and when restraint sustains natural flow, thus sidestepping the disruptive pull of anyone’s emotional termiol or personal drama. Drawing on an advanced form of temporal discernment, akin to reading emergent patterns in complex dynamic procedures, they determine the optimal moment to act, leveraging the existing potential without forcing outcomes prematurely. By “leading the dance,” they introduce strategic nudges that clarify underlying structures and accelerate the timeline trajectory, preventing it from cycling in unproductive loops. This orchestration is not a self-focused performance, but rather a form of collective reflection, in which they align each person (“aspect of mind”) to its most harmonious function for the totality of all humanity. Instead of imposing a self-referential lens, they see reality self-reflecting at scale, integrating each perspective in a manner that elevates the entire network’s clarity and resilience. The result is a kind of meta-coordination: they perceive the latent order in any unfolding situation and gently realign its facets so that every element synchronizes into a coherent whole, revealing the “one mind” in which all individual facets find their precise place.
Personal Evolution: They move beyond the confines of personal identity, effectively dissolving the usual distinction between “self” and the broader tapestry of existence, such that their concern for future generations is not a cognitive abstraction but an embodied imperative. Rather than seeking to preserve a legacy in the narrow sense, driven by ego or personal renown, they direct their awareness toward the evolutionary arc of humanity over centuries or even millennia. In doing so, they integrate a longitudinal altruism grounded in advanced moral cognition and transpersonal psychology, embracing the well-being of distant descendants as if it were a direct extension of their own immediate circle. This shift requires a rare form of temporal expansion in which they perceive the consequences of each present action rippling outward to shape societal structures, ecological systems, and cultural mindsets far beyond the span of a single lifetime.
In practice, this vantage dissolves the typical “trade-off” mentality that pits short-term gains against long-term flourishing. Instead, they see each individual as a custodian of the collective’s ongoing evolution, recognizing how seemingly small actions can recalibrate entire futures. This expanded identity not only transcends personal mortality, viewing death not as a termination but as a point along an ever-evolving continuum, but also compels them to consider the delicate interdependence of all beings. Every decision reverberates through the intricate network of human relationships, ecosystems, and the lineage of countless future lives. Their ethical framework thus extends across generations, forging a deeply benevolent, yet rigorously pragmatic, approach that few can sustain. By aligning each present choice with a profoundly future-oriented sense of responsibility, they embody a mode of existence in which the survival and thriving of life itself becomes the core animating value, an embodiment so far beyond conventional horizons that it often defies explanation to those who do not share this panoramic sense of time and interconnectedness.
They learn to perceive each moment as a portal through which the entire tapestry of past and future becomes visible in microcosm, as though all temporal threads converge into an instantly comprehensible design. Drawing on what advanced cognitive science and certain interpretations of quantum field theory suggest about reality’s interconnectivity, they intuit how every object, person, and event offers precise data points that signal the direction of evolving patterns. In this hyper-receptive state, they detect how the “now” encapsulates the latent momentum of past causes and the unfolding potential of future effects. Rather than experiencing a passive “flow of information,” they co-participate with it, sustaining a level of wakefulness so refined that even trivial details seem to reveal crucial facets of a larger order. This alertness is neither mystical nor coincidental; it reflects a profoundly integrated form of cognition that synchronizes heightened self-awareness, rigorous pattern recognition, and a deep willingness to register subtle, often subliminal cues. By merging keen observation with a near-constant drive to learn, they function like a living instrument attuned to the immediate and the timeless all at once, an achievement that demands an unyielding commitment to seeing what most filters out in the clutter of day-to-day perception.
Cause of Evolution: Out of the necessity of Level 6, they perceive how value systems reorganize themselves through the interwoven architecture of cause and effect, discerning the deeper momentum that steers humanity’s collective evolution. Rather than viewing shifting values as random or purely reactive, they see the larger meta-pattern at work, an ongoing reconfiguration that leads toward emergent frameworks of meaning. By grasping these behind-the-scenes processes, they recognize that what seems chaotic or senseless to most is actually part of a larger trajectory toward new forms of coherence and understanding. Their “higher-order seeing” bridges the gap between perceived disorder and purposeful transformation, allowing them to convey clarity and direction where others experience only confusion. This capacity is far from mere insight: it requires an extraordinarily integrative cognition that melds transdisciplinary knowledge, advanced self-reflective awareness, and a nuanced sense of timing, all converging to illuminate how life’s complexities orchestrate a gradual realignment of values in service to a greater coherence.
They manifest a benevolence so deep that it effectively “calls forth” the latent potential within others, acting as a channel through which unspoken needs, motivations, and aspirations become explicit and actionable. Building on the profound empathy found at Level 6, they engage a form of meta-empathic resonance that allows them to sense what individuals or groups genuinely require, even when those needs have not been articulated. This resonance is neither mere sympathy nor intrusive intervention; rather, it hinges on a refined co-participatory attunement, a phenomenon aligned with cutting-edge research in social neuroscience and transformative learning. By standing as a catalyst for others’ deeper capacities, they speak not from personal agenda but from an internalized clarity about the collective interest. In doing so, they align each person’s “soul-level” drive with the collective broader trajectory, weaving individual aspiration into the well-being of all. This rare alignment demands a level of psychological maturity, cognitive complexity, and ethical commitment so interwoven that it appears effortless only to those who share this level of insight. In other words, they embody the idea that true service arises from making oneself available as a conduit through which another’s highest potential finds both voice and form.
