Modern Levels

🧗‍♂️ Thresholds Between Each Level of Consciousness

Each level of consciousness is quite opposite from the one before it. For example, Level 1 contrasts with Level 2, and Level 2 contrasts with Level 3. While this shift might seem overwhelming, there are clear thresholds that make moving from one level to the next smoother.

For example, at the first threshold—when someone moves from Level 2 to Level 3—they start relating to others through thoughtful consideration, rather than selfishly, while also expressing their own needs in a soft gentle manner.

However, as they discover the empowerment that comes from finding their voice and advocating for their needs, they encounter a new threshold that enables a profound new appreciation for self-expression. At this threshold, carefully thinking about others takes a back seat because it’s linked to Level 2 issues. Instead, they will be aware that people are empowered to speak up if they feel you aren’t being considerate.

Eventually, people at Level 2 reach another threshold where the experience of moving beyond Level 2 consciousness becomes thrilling, fun, and exciting. They start to take responsibility for their behavior within interpersonal dynamics and cease to view themselves as victims of Level 3 people. They gain deep clarity, understanding that their prior inability to acknowledge and communicate their needs originated from a deeper fear of jeopardizing their attachment to their relationships.

For people at Level 2 consciousness, these bonds hold irrational significance, often compelling them to remain in toxic and unhealthy relationships to maintain the connection, alongside fears of abandonment and other underlying issues. At some point, they hit the threshold where they become aware of the irrationality of their behavior, and this emotional irrationality eventually loses its grip on their decision-making.

Each level contains a series of thresholds that must be navigated until that level of consciousness is fully realized. Level 3, like all levels, provides benefits that help address the challenges of lower levels (i.e., Level 2 problems). However, once fully integrated, the level becomes destructive, as the need for progression to the next level of consciousness becomes necessary. What was once advantageous will gradually evolve into a source of complications and problems.
